Meet the doctors


Dr. Taylor Henderson, PT, DPT

Dr. Henderson is a pediatric doctor of physical therapy and the owner of BloomWell!

Dr. Henderson was born and raised in Southern California. She received her B.S. in Health Sciences from Chapman University and was a 4 year member of the women’s soccer team. After graduating, she continued her education at Chapman University earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Henderson has experience working in school-based and private outpatient pediatric settings and has treated a variety of diagnoses including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, torticollis/plagiocephaly, autism spectrum disorder, toe walking, general gross motor delay, and various genetic and neurological disorders.

She believes in working as a team alongside her patients and their families to provide a strong support system. Dr. Henderson strives to empower families through sharing her expertise in gross motor development and helping families implement simple strategies into their daily routines to make a positive impact.

In her free time, Dr. Henderson enjoys spending time with her husband, Zach, and son, Beau! She loves to go hiking, camping, boating at the lake, and line dancing!

Dr. Nikki Amaro, PT, DPT

Dr. Amaro is an orthopedic doctor of physical therapy specializing in pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise.

She is an Orange County native. She graduated from Cal State Long Beach with her B.S. in Kinesiology: Exercise Science. She met Dr. Henderson at Chapman University while getting her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, where they both tutored anatomy to first semester PT and PA students. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics treating patients from age 3-93, but she is passionate about empowering and educating new moms to take care of themselves through exercise.

She is a mom of two, and truly understands how challenging it can be to return to exercise postpartum, and wants to help other moms find their way. 

In her free time, you can find Dr. Amaro at the beach with her family, exploring new parks in the area, or barbecuing and hanging out with friends.
