Move with Mama Classes

Offering mommy and me exercise classes designed for postpartum mamas to learn appropriate exercises to get you moving while bonding with your baby. These classes provide guided instruction for exercises, things to look out for, and progressions to ease you into exercise, while learning ways for your baby to “exercise” with you through purposeful play. Come build community with other mamas while building the foundation for safe return to exercise alongside your little!

Class Details:

  • 4-week class series 

  • Led by Dr. Nikki Amaro, PT, DPT, postpartum corrective exercise specialist, and mama of two littles

  • Small class sizes (max. 5 moms per class) to ensure personalized attention and cuing

  • Answers to your postpartum exercise-related questions at the end of each class

  • Home Exercise Program with all the exercises we do in class

For the postpartum mama

  • Fourth Trimester Class

    Designed for mamas 6-12 weeks postpartum looking to gently ease into exercise. You will learn how to re-engage muscles, improve mobility and strength, while bonding with your baby!

    November 9, 16, 30, & December 7 Thursdays at 1:00 pm

  • Return to Exercise Class

    Designed for mamas 3-7 months and 8-12 months postpartum looking to safely increase strength to get back to your regular activities, with exercises for your little targeted at their current motor milestones.

    Investment: $149

Move with Mama Classes

Our Second and Third Trimester class series are offered for each trimester of your pregnancy targeting your changing needs throughout pregnancy.

Pregnancy exercise classes are created with breathing, mobility, and strength exercises to help you prepare your body for a growing belly, labor positions, and taking care of your baby after delivery.

Class Details:

  • 4-week class series 

  • Led by Dr. Nikki Amaro, PT, DPT, pregnancy corrective exercise specialist, and mama of two littles

  • Small class sizes (max. 5 moms per class) to ensure personalized attention and cuing

  • Answers to your postpartum exercise-related questions at the end of each class

  • Home Exercise Program with all the exercises we do in class

Class Topics Include:

  • Abdominal pressure management

  • Modifying exercises

  • Signs and symptoms to look out for during exercise

  • Labor positions with exercises to prepare your body

Q&A included at the end of every class to answer all of your questions!

A home exercise program will be provided to continue exercises at home throughout your pregnancy!

For the pregnant mama

  • Second Trimester Class

    Designed for mamas in their second trimester (Weeks 13-27) of pregnancy looking to safely modify exercise, prepare for labor, and keep their bodies moving during pregnancy!

  • Third Trimester Class

    Designed for mamas in their third trimester (Weeks 28-40+) of pregnancy looking to safely modify exercise, prepare for labor, and keep their bodies moving during pregnancy!
